Was halten die werten Herren und Damen von dem Spiel?

ARMA 3/ (https://store.steampowered.com/app/107410/Arma_3/)

Spielt es hier jemand und kann uns sagen, welchen Grafik MOD mann unbedingt haben muß?

Wieviele Kerne muß die CPU haben?

Hat jemand das Spiel überhaupt auf seinem Rechner?

Und bevor der große Aufschrei kommt.... Nein, Nein, der KIWI kauft das Spiel NICHT!!!! Er fragt nur für einen Freund :D

Man braucht nicht besonders viele Kerne, 4 sollten definitiv reichen.

Wir haben damals immer ohne Grafikmod gespielt. Die Grafik war immer zweckdienlich.

Die großen Performanceprobleme kommen im Multiplayer zustande oder wenn man Maps spielt in denen sehr viel Skripte aktiv sind. Die Grafik spielt da eher untegeordnete Rolle, vor allem wenn man das Alter der Engine bedenkt und die Power einigermaßen moderner Grafikkarten.

Der werte KAreil hat Arma III gespielt und auch über einen AAR darüber berichtet. Wir haben selbst haben das Spiel zwar, dürften es aber noch nicht installiert haben, da Singleplayer eher uninteressant ist und eine MP-Partie noch nicht zur Diskussion stand.

Der designierte Nachfolger ist erstmal Arma Reforger, aber das ist noch Early Access. Der Nachfolger im Geiste ist Squad, das bisher schon mal 50% reduziert war (und dann 18€ gekostet hat).

:facepalm: So, jetzt liegt der arme KIWI im Sauerstoffzelt. Ihr könnt doch nocht einen Betrag in dieser Größenordnung auf einmal nennen. Das muss man Stückchen für Stücken machen; wie die Zwerge in "Der Hobbit" von Gandalf nur in Zweiergrüppchen nach und nach in Beorns Haus geholt werden.

KAreil meldet sich zur Stelle.

Kann aber nicht all zu viel Rat geben, wir spielen immer das Mod-Set der 412er...und da geht es nicht um die Grafik.


In eine HTML Datei kopieren und die Datei dann einfach in den Arma3-Launcher ziehen.

SQUAD und auch "Return to Tarkov" stehen immer mal wieder auf meiner Beobachtungsliste. Bisher habe ich mich aber nicht nicht dazu durchringen können auch zu kaufen

Wir haben uns nun auch einmal SQUAD auf steam angeschaut. Die Filme sind ja super, sieht alles ein wenig flüssiger aus mit den menschlichen Bewegungen.

Squad scheint mir aber eine eher reine Multiplayerveranstaltung zu sein. Das kratzt so ziemlich das gleiche Jucken wie ARMA 3 im Multiplayer.
