Wir sind nach wie vor in der Defensive und müssen mit unseren Dingen vorsichtig umgehen. Das klingt sicher sehr pessimistisch und dies müssen wir leider sein, da es derzeit nach wie vor sehr trist für uns aussieht!

Der Feind hat nach wie vor eine um vielfaches stärkere Trägerflotte als wir - derzeit haben wir auf der amerikanischen Seite gerade mal 3 Flottenträger (Wasp, Saratoga und Hornet) und etliche Aushilfsträger (8, davon sind aber einige in der Replenishmentrolle - wir müssen den Flottenträgern was geht an Flugzeugen bereitstellen können, falls es zu einer Schlacht kommt).
Bei den Briten sieht es noch viel schlimmer aus - nur die gute alte Hermes ist als Träger vorhanden....die restlichen britischen Träger hat Churchill abgezogen!
Im Laufe des ersten Halbjahres kommt an Flottenträgern recht wenig nach (CV Essex und die britische Victorious), dafür wurden aber ein paar Kreuzer noch vor der Fertigstellung umdesigned und komen als CVL (Independence und Belleau Wood); auch einige Aushilfsträger werden im ersten Halbjahr aus den Bauwerften kommen (5x)

=> falls der Feind seine Träger zusammenhält hat er noch weit in 43 hinein eine nicht zu unterschätzende Waffe!

In den letzten Monaten wurden im Pazifik einige Inseln als Hub ausgebaut und könnten für zukünftige Aktionen verwendet werden:
Tahiti (und Umgebung)
Ua Huka (wurden als Reservebasen für den Fall das Tahiti unter massiven Druck kommt ausgebaut
Hawaii mit den Forwardbasen Johnston und Palmyra)
Kodiak
Von diesen Basen aus können wir auch mit schweren Bombern agieren (falls wir genügend hätten)

Auf der anderen Seite des Pazifiks schaut es in Burma/Indien ruhig aus.....in China ist die Lage beschissen und in Australien scheinen wir den Gegner estoppt zu haben. (Neuseeland ist nach wie vor sehr ruhig aber auch hochgerüstet)

Unsere Luftwaffen sind teilweise gerade mal zur Hälfte aufgefüllt (vor allem die USAAF sowie ein paar Commonwealthstaaten hätten genügend Platz in ihren Staffeln für weitere rund 1400 Flugzeuge (SIC!)
Leider beginnt der richtige Nachschub im nächsten Halbjahr auch nicht zu fliessen (20 Liberator im Monat..........)

Was könnten wir also tun:
In Indien stehen viele Bodentruppen....da könnte man etwas vorrücken
In China wierden wir uns festkrallen müssen ansonsten bekommt der Feind zuviele Truppen frei!
Australien - hier könnte man einekleine Gegenoffensive starten
Südsee -der sicher aussichtsreichste Standort für eine Gegenoffensive
Zentralpazifik - Baker Island und Canton Island, sowie auch Midway wären verlockende Ziele
Aleuten - man könnte im eisigen Norden Inselspringen spielen

Ich würde versuchen in der Südsee Schwerpunkte zu setzen:

Von Tubuai weiter westwärts. Vorher Rarotonga und die anderen 1-2 Eilande aus dem Archipel Tahiti noch liquidieren.

Dann auf der Achse Fiji - Noumea vorrücken, um die Nachschubwege nach Aussieland etwas geradezubiegen. Sollte kein Problem, sein da mit 4-mots aufzuräumen.

Aleuten würde ich ignorieren, falls da kein Angriff kommt.

Zentralpazifik sind die Abstände zu weit. Wenn man da vorrückt, dann erst wenn man die totale und absolute Trägervorherrschaft hat, das ist in dem Spiel hier erst was für '44.

Südwestpazifik. Kommt man schlecht ran, solage der Südpazific von den Japsen okkupiert ist.

Bleibt eigentlich nur der Süden, imho.

In China gibt es massive gegnerische Luftangriffe ( mit 100+ Bombern bei einem Angriff), ausserdem tastet der Feind die Linien mit Bodenangriffen ab!

In Alaska gibt es die üblichen feindlichen offensiven Jagdfliegerangriffe.

Der Feind bombt rückwärtige Basen in Indien.....da wird Paul was dagegen tun müssen!

Auch die armen Kokoskrabben bekommen wieder Bomben an den Kopf geworfen.

In Australien bomben wir den feindlichen Angriffskeil munter weiter (und das recht erfolgreich), auch am Boden gibt es dann was zu tun:

Tja......um ehrlich zu sein sau mies!
Der Upgrade auf die neue Version wird uns nun so was zwischen 500 und ca 3800 Punkten kosten.

Es ist ja super, dass wir nun all die irgendwie und irgendwo hängengebliebenen Einheiten, Schiffe und Flieger bekommen............nur wo die dann auftauchen.....vorallem 2 Transport TFs.......wähhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh
und dass ohne Sprit!

Zumindest haben wir nun alle die hängengebliebenen ground units bekommen (ca 2400 Angriffspunkte!) und die 12 hängengebliebenen Fliegerstaffeln (wenn auch ohne Piloten und Flieger)

Ausserdem können wir nun zerstörte Bodeneinheiten gegen ein paar (sehr wenig SIC!) PPs wieder zum Leben erwecken!


Aber die nächsten turns werden hart werden...da die wiederaufgetauchten TFs im Feindesland bzw sehr nahe daran sind.....und ohne Sprit!

ist nicht machbar,
wie mir scheint sind Convoys und Schiffe die man von Offmap in Richtung Map mit einem bestimmten Ziel auf den Weg geschickt hat, und dann dieses Ziel vom Feind erobert wurde, dann teilweise nicht mehr aufwindbar gewesen.
Man hat zwar die Schiffe in einer Liste gefundwn aber anklicken und den Konvoi suchen (der nicht in der Konvoiliste stand) aber dies brachte nichts.

Dies ist vor allem bei Konvois der Fall.........mal schauen ob wir irgend was davon retten können, da alle Schiffe in diesem Konvoi ohne Sprit sind.

Bisher hat der Feind einen dieser Konvois vernichtet.........er wird sicher auch andere finden :(
