Some patch notes with tech support relevance:
1.1
Game will now start on systems with less than 128MB of dedicated graphics memory so shared memory can be used.
If game fails to start using graphics resolution from settings.txt it will try to use the desktop resolution.
1.2
Game will now start on video chips with shaders emulated in software (e.g. Intel GMA 900/950). Still needs 'Intel blue map fix' to be somewhat playable.
1.3
- Now the game checks if there is enough video-memory when using high resolutions and high multisampling. In 2048x1800, 4x multisapling takes 60 additional MB of videomemory.. this has caused out of videomemory for some people.
2.2
- Fullscreen refresh rate was sometimes set to 0 in settings.
- Changed DirectSound cooperative level from DSSCL_NORMAL to DSSCL_PRIORITY.
- CGraphicsSettings::EnumerateDisplayModes now enumerates possible display modes from 50Hz instead of 60Hz, since the former is used on some laptops. (Thank you)
- Changed the Idea graphics from a strip to separate icons in order to fix a glitch many people with ATI graphics card have reported.
